West Coast Swing
Instructors: Steve and Patricia Otrosa

Classes will be offered in 2 segments. Beginning Class is the first 3 weeks and Advanced Class is the second 3 weeks.
Couples may take one or both of these segments but if they take the 2nd set they must have already had beginning classes at some time. Each set is $40 per couple.

Dance Floor Etiquette / The line-of-dance is counter-clockwise around the floor.
The dancing on a floor is done along a counter clockwise direction, known as the Line Of Dance. This applies to traveling dances including Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz, as well as Polka. Latin, Swing, and Night CLub 2 Step dances are more or less stationary and have no line of dance. These dancers take the middle of the floor, and the moving dancers move along the periphery in the direction of the line of dance.

Instructors Donna and Gene Green
Donna and Gene Green have taught at the PIMA Community Learning Center in Green Valley. They have won several awards for Nightclub Two-Step. Donna is a former three-time International Baton Champion and past Co-Director/Choreographer for the Seattle Seahawk Sea Gals(NFL Cheerleaders). Gene, is an accomplished singer/entertainer. |
Instructors Steve and Patricia Otrosa
Pat and Steve are ballroom dance regulars. They are excellent dancers and will offer a personal and stylistic flavor to their classes. |
